Be Warned when buying at WeBuyCars

I bought a car from Richmond WeBuyCars in April 2023 on finance. I was informed that the disc and plates will follow soon. I made a number of enquiries but I was ignored like I was never a customer. 5 months later I am still enquiring about my disc and plates and today I got the worst answer possible from WeBuyCars JHB South that I should pay for the roadworthy and disc if I want it. WeBuyCars will not incur the debt. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I have already paid for all that so why we buy cars needs money from me when this has already been charged on my finance...

This is really disturbing. I feel like I am dealing with bunch of ********s who wants to make money of people. I am upset and very angry.

My insurance is impacted as a result of this. My insurer will not pay incase of any damages to the car because there's no disc and plates.

I am now seeking legal help because I don't know what to do anymore. I get stopped all the time by traffic officers. One officer stopped me 3 times in 5 months and they are amazed that 5 months down the line still no disc or plates and I am still changing permits. One of the officers even suggested that I am driving in a ****** vehicle because this doesn't make sense at all...

I am a very unhappy customer. I have spent so much money driving to we buy cars to try and resolve this matter to no avail. Who is going to refund me all my money for the past 5 months!?
