Be careful!
When buying a car, second-hand or new, you apparently need to be a mechanic. The Dekra report for the car I bought was a Platinum raring, only to find out that WBC did not do a full Dekra evaluation on the vehicle. In a question of 2 weeks, the car's timing belt, turbo actuator and turbo broke. I drive 10km a day with the car. The technicians advise that this should have been picked up by WBC or their Service Centre before selling the car given the mileage of the car. It was not. When this was mentioned to WBC, along with the reports from the technicians that inspected my car, WBC says that I had a chance to inspect the vehicle before making the decision to purchase. How can I do that if I, as a customer, relies on a clean, Platinum-rated Dekra provided by WBC. I am not a mechanic, how can I inspect the mechanical features of a car!! They do not accept any liability, and keep on saying that the 6-month warranty has passed, and it is not their responsibility anymore. I had to be without my car for 4 weeks. Incurred unexpected costs. The best they can do is throw their hands up and say SORRY, NOT OUR PROBLEM! According to MIOSA, this is not the first time WBC has sold a vehicle with undisclosed faults.
