Bad experience and never buying a car from We Sell Cars ever again.

I bought a car at WeSell Cars last year between October and November. During the same time I kept getting a (Drivetrain) message. I contacted the lady by the name of Michelle who assisted me purchasing the car at We Sell Cars, and was later informed that she moved to the Pretoria branch. In December I got a notification saying that break pads need to be replaced so I booked the car for break pads to be replaced. The repairer replaced break pads in January 2017 and further ran a diagnostic on the car and picked up that there was something faulty in the timing chain. I took the car to We Sell Cars this year February and explained to Jonty the issue. He advised me that this issue will be covered by Warranty, so I should book it to an RMI approved repairer - which I did. This was around March. The repairer then contacted me regarding service history, which highlighted that warranty would not approve repairs because in the service book, last service was in 2014. So I requested the repairer to assemble the car and took it to We Sell Cars. During all this time I was in contact with Jonty for a service that was either done privately or a pre-service that should have been done before the car was given to me. So Jonty at We Sell Cars took the car and said he would sort it out for me. Two months passed, I kept calling and checking if car is fixed requesting feedback, eventually I contacted their head office and spoke to Marques who promised to sort out this problem. I try contacting the repairer where We Buy Cars took vehicle to Protech Auto Services, who stripped and sent through the quote to the warranty. The warranty got back to Protech, saying they will only cover a portion of the quotation amount. Another tricky issue is the "service", which was needed the first time I booked the car for repairs was found. If the service or service receipts were available when it was requested on first attempt to get warranty to approve repairs, we would not have been here. Protech gave me and We Sell Cars the feedback, now We Sell Cars seeing that warranty is only covering part of the quotation amount, decided to work out a way to put blame on me the driver so they don't cover anything... In a reply I received from them saying that it's "driver abuse" that was the cause and they can't assist any further.

It's been over a month now since I wrote this review and received the two replies and I'm still without a car. I don't get any feedback for weeks on the progress.

Hi there Next month should mark a year since I've purchased the car at We Buy Cars and of that year I've only had the car four to five months. I am still without the car and the issue is still not yet resolved. The recon motor that I was told would be fitted in June hasn't been fitted till now.
