Bad after sales service.

On the 15th of September 2020 I sold my Toyota hilux to webuycars, I was quite impressed by the efficiency in which the transaction was conducted by Quinton (the buyer). Because I retained my registration numbers Quinton said I should collect my number plates from the Durban branch. He referred me to Dean, who confirmed later that he had the plates in his possession and I can collect it from him. I also reminded him that the vehicle still had my etag on it and asked him to remove it, which he said he would do. A few days later I travelled 150kms (return trip) to the branch, only for Dean to tell me he didn't know what I was talking about. His behaviour was arrogant and rude, I then spoke to the manager Jaco, who informed me that my vehicle had already been sold with the number plates on it as well as the e-tag. This was a wasted day.

The bill generated from the day of sale on the e-toll totalled R281,42. At first Jaco informed me that the admin will refund the toll fee and they will order me a new set of plates, later he said that I should contact etoll for the refund. (how absurd is this)

I am very disappointed by the unprofessional and arrogant after sales customer service by the company on a petty matter that should be resolved without any issues.

Reviewer Update
I have now received a R600 fine for a speeding traffic violation in Ekhurleni, dated 22 September 2020. This means the vehicle is still being driven on my name. What is going on? What protection do I have if this vehicle violates any laws because it's not taken off my name yet.
