After sales service is bull****!
So last year June we bought a car from we buy cars and it's just been a pain in the bum. So now before we actually took delivery of the vehicle we went to take it for a test drive and I was told that everything that we have an issue with on the test drive will be sorted out and with that being said I made mention of a knocking noise on the front left wheel, anyways regardless of that we took ownership of the car it was late coming back to the the dealership because it was out for roadworthy. After taking ownership of the vehicle and driving home I proceeded to then send Rohan a message - he was the person that was my sales rep. We were then told that we need to go and do a formal complaint on the customer care portal of we buy cars which doesn't work. Please also bear in mind that we had additional expenses added to the final amount of the car as they were other items that needed to be fixed - engine mounting, radiator and a front left leaking differential - all of which requires both front wheels to come off which would then expose the leaking shock absorber. So either this was covered up or the workshop that did the work damaged it and didn't bother replacing it.
Needless to say there was nothing done with regards to the original issue that I brought to Rohan's attention.
Anyways long story short, we have been waiting and waiting for our documents ie licence disk only to be told that we need to take it for road worthy AGAIN - which might I add the vehicle did not pass road worthy due to a problem on the front left side (the exact same side I originally complained about). This argument has been going on since before October 2023 as this was the month that our disk expired. It has cost me over R3k to take the vehicle for an inspection to get a list of all the faults with it - which I have submitted to webuycars already which NOTHING has been done about. Please also note that there is more than R180k worth of issues with this vehicle which had already been given a Dekra report stating nothing was wrong apart from the front left diff. It is the entire steering column of this vehicle.
To date I have spoken to Angelina who told me she would get on top of all of this because I have told them out right that I will drive this car into the reception area and make a noise there until I have answers. To which nothing has been done since.
It has been over 2 weeks since we last spoke and I haven't even been sent a follow up email regarsless of the emails i have sent to her.
I am paying thousands every month for a car that is not road worthy, not legally on the road (oh yes I have also been waiting for temporary number plates since last year December 2023 which i also told Angelina is vitally important due to insurance purposes - again nothing) which in turn effects my insurance which I am paying for every month so that they can refuse to cover me due to a none licensed vehicle.
The after sales of webuycars is disgusting and after this episode I truly truly hope that we buy cars Northgate shuts down. This way there won't be so many "salesmen" talking ******* to make a sale and no one else will have to deal with anyone from webuycars Northgate ever again.
I managed to finally get through to complaints department to finally get a case number - which has helped me less than nothing as no one bothers to get back to you.
I write this on hello Peter as a last attempt before I have to drive this vehicle into the reception area of Northgate webuycars So I can hopefully FINALLY get resolutions for the issues that webuycars have created.
