Absolutely Disgusting service

I am very disappointed with the service that I received from the we buy cars Salt Lake City branch. I made an enquiry and received a call from Respect the salesmen who was very pleasant and helpful. I was then passed on to Bihle the trainee finance lady that assisted with my application. I soon received feedback that the application was successful, and that the car would soon be mine.

Then the problems started when I was advised that I have to sign documents in Pretoria. As I am based in kzn this was going to be a challenge for me. I then contacted Respect and he advised there was an alternative however he would need to speak with his manager Ryan. I was then transferred to Ryan and he advised that he have a chat with the finance team and revert back to me. I was then advised that I can sign the documents at a branch closest to me and arrange for someone to test drive and take delivery of the vehicle. I then made the necessary arrangements with my sister from Gauteng and sent through all the required documents as per the finance departments requirements.

I submitted all necessary documents and had to call back more than 10 times to the finance team however got no positive feedback. I had to then call Respect to find out about my application and what's happening. 2 days later I get a call from Elmarie the senior finance lady and was then spoken to in a very degrading manor. She said that I wanted special request, and they were not prepared to do this. I was shouting at me over the phone and would not give me a chance to speak. She blatantly told me if I want the car then I should damn come collect it myself. She refuses to make the arrangements as agreed with Ryan to have documents signed in kzn and I have a driver collect on my behalf. I then called Ryan and he advised that she should not have spoken to me in that manor, and he would take this up with her manager Nelmarie.

I did advise Ryan I will be reporting the matter as I was highly disgusted with the service I received. He did tell me that he will get back to me. After a few hours I called Ryan and he advised that elmarie and the finance team advised him that the finance institute would not allow me to sign the documents in the kzn branch and I will have to come to Pretoria to sing the documents. I advised him it would cost me R5500 just to come up to sign documents and he said that the finance officer was just being difficult because I reported her to a senior.
