Absolute Horror of customer service!

For months I was perusing their website as I am looking for a specific vehicle. And to my surprise I found one on their site early yesterday at the Lansdowne branch. I got there about 11am, test driven the car, spoke to the Bank on site and wanted to see more offers from other banks. I left to fetch my mechanic to give me his opinion. On my return another sales person was at the vehicle- I informed him that I am busy buying the car and that he should not show the car to his customer - who called in. I immediately tried to pay the R 5000 holding deposit. I previously dealt with Webuycars and had an existing profile on their systems. I did not know my password, and to reset it the link would be emailed to me- I don't have access to my email account on my phone. The sales assistant reserved the car for 2 hours on my partners name and said this will give me enough time to return home reset my profile and pay the holding deposit. I left and on my return home, less than an hour latter I got a call to inform me that Mario Gouws a sales manager cancelled my hold and sold the car to his customer- effectively *****ing the deal from the sales person helping me. I don't see why I as a customer should be treated like this. Its already a challenge to buy a car from them as you have to contend with their IT challenges which is overly complicated and feels much more like a JOB I did not ask to have. (Why do I have to work for them as I am a customer not an aspiring employee) Further I have to compete with money hungry sales teams desperate to make sales targets and the best bully gets away it. I was there hours before- done everything I could with the challenges presented to secure the vehicle sale, but then get penalized and ignored when I called to discuss the matter.

To clarify- I called Mario directly- he refused to take my call. I called again on a normal call which he let ring through to voicemail. I tried again immediately and then found his phone switched off. And only after calling the 087 number did I eventually get hold of him. I asked him to get the branch manager to call me back- Its now nearly 24 hours latter and this matter did not seem to interest the Branch manager enough to return my call.

I am a shareholder of Webuycars, and this ********** customer services is making me having second thoughts if I should continue to invest into this business- sad. This is kind of service I associate with a failing company. And I have lost mostly all my respect for what I perceived and a great new innovative business. SHAME ON YOU!
