Warranty Solutions ******* policies.

Warranty Solutions (Pty) Ltd sells vehicle warranties and warranty top ups. I was advised today that based on the quote they received they would only pay an amount of R1700 from the warranty policy and R4000 from the top up for Mechanical failure. The top up policy says clearly cover is R12000 for Mechanical failure. I asked for an assessor to be sent out and this was refused by the agent Craig. They have been paid for the policies for 2 years. I called again then was told by Craig that they do not cover consequential damages but only the component that caused the damage..... Total quote for repairs R29615.00 what they will pay R5700 being R1700 from warranty policy and R4000 from top up policy under failure as a result of wear and tear.... Not the R12000 from Mechanical electrical failure. There is also additional component cover of R2500 not being paid from the top up policy. This specifies Mechanical/ Electrical components not covered by the underlying warranty.....
