Incorrect assessment on vehicle

I recently had issues with my 2011 BMW X5 4.0D where the drive shaft broke and it damaged the sump. Warranty Solutions is only willing to pay out an amount of R7000,00 where the damages is currently on R33 797,38. I arranged for my vehicle to be taken to Quick Lane in Witbank where they accommodated me and inspected the damages to the vehicle. As per the the email received from warranty solutions the assessment on the vehicle is incorrect thus the assessment is nil and void. It was stated that it is not necessary to send an assessor to inspect the vehicle going on the report received from the Quick Lane. The component which failed was NOT the prop shaft (as stated on the Authorization Form) it was the DRIVE shaft and not CV joint as also stated on the Authorization form. If the warranty company do know their vehicle components this would have been stated properly. Thus this component failure caused damage to the sump, the reason for this failure is that the universal joint on the drive shaft sized up and broke off which resulted in damages to the sump and so forth. The warranty company needs to send a competent professional assessor to inspect the vehicle properly and redo the assessment. I have not received any documentation on what is covered on the warranty and what not. My question to the company is why am I paying for a warranty on my vehicle if I'm not covered sufficiently for damages that was not my fault and could not have been prevented. Currently Quick Lane is also questioning the outcome of the warranty claim as they don't agree with the outcome.

I need to get this sorted out as soon as possible and waiting for your response.

Kind regards, Johan
