Wahoo Products - DO NOT PURCHASE
Do not purchase a wahoo product! Because if you need a part - chances are you'll never get it. Requested to order handlebars for kickr bike in April. You have to liaise with SA entitiy Ikhambi distribution. They cannot tell me when this part is going to arrive so when i contact wahoo directly via their support link - they are also unable to advise where this order is and keep responding that they acknowledge my concern, escalated and closed ticket! Disgusting

Poor product quality and support on Wahoo indoor trainer
I bought a Wahoo Kickr Core from Cycle lab (South Africa) in June 2019 - R13 500. I used the product for about 6 years and then the unit developed a fault - the flywheel flexes causing the drive belt to chafe on the idler roller bracket. Cycle lab does not stand behind the product and refers one to iKhambi Distribution - the local agents. When they referred this to Wahoo HQ they refused any assistance as the unit is a discontinued model......the best that they could do was a 20% discount on a new unit. There is no local repair facility and no spare parts are available. I was "seduced" into sticking to Wahoo because of the discount - equivalent smart trainers are also not cheap. Upon receiving the new Kickr Core, to my dismay, the calibration on the unit is significantly different to the old one. I cycle extensively on Zwift and was a C graded rider, now I battle to keep up with the D riders. I sent the unit back to iKhambi for testing and they insist that there is nothing wrong with the calibration! I cannot believe that the calibration on the faulty unit was incorrect as the stats generated on Zwift were similar to what I was achieving riding my road bike outdoors.
