Unhappy with Goldwagen Pretoria North

I bought a Jeep front wheel bearing from Goldwagen Pretoria North on 22 March 2022 for R1540. I mentiond the model and every info that I had, and was sold the wheel bearing. I took it in good faith, as the salesman obtained the necessary info from their system. I handed the Jeep, as well as the bearing to a mechanic friend for repair. The following morning i received a call from the mechanic, stating that he fitted the bearing but that the bearing studs and the wheel did not match! The PCD differed. I requested the mechanic to remove the bearing carefully, to not damage it. As far as i am concerned, there was no damage to said wheel bearing. I returned the bearing to GOLDWAGEN Pretoria North and told them the bearing PCD differed from my vehicle's wheel PCD. They did not have any different wheel bearings, so i requested a refund. Their salesman looked at the bearng and stated that there was slight damage, and that he would submit the bearing to their workshop for evaluation. I expected a phone call from them last Friday, which did not happen. This morning I contacted GOLDWAGEN Pretoria North to enquire what their decision was, just to be told my claim was rejected, as they found slight hammer indentations on the component! If the correct part had been sold to me in the first instance, I would not have had any need to remove the bearing! Whose fault is it then if the wrong part was supp****? I have on 31 March 2022 bought the correct bearing from GOLDWAGEN Pretoria West, part was fitted, with no problems. I feel aggrieved by GOLDWAGEN Pretoria North's attitude in not wanting to refund me. I will today, or tomorrow collect the bearing (for which I have no use) and try to resell it. Goldwagen Pretoria North, you have lost a few customers with this treatment.
