Unfair treatment

On 26 April 2022 I bought a LAMBDA SENSOR for my car from Goldwagen Pietermaritzburg, it's code as the invoice (***0) is A10963 7H. My machenic fitted the part on the same and my car was fine.

Early this month I noticed an EPC sign on the dashboard and also noted that my car was starting to use a lot of fuel than before, my car is 1,6l vw polo classic. Under normal circumstances the full tank gives me about 800km but now with this problem the full tank can't even make 500km.

On 14 July 2022 I took my car to my machenic for diagnoses and it came out that the LAMBDA SENSOR is faulty.

On 19 July 2022 I went to Goldwagen Pietermaritzburg to report their faulty part or item as I was informed that the part comes with a one year warranty. The sales consultant informed me that I must take the faulty part out and give it to them, and they will take it away for the investigation and the process will take about a month or so. I asked the sales person that how is my car going to be able to operate without this part as I believe if I drive the car without this part my car will be damaged and that it can create a safety hazard. He responded that he doesn't know if I don't buy another part.

I felt very disappointed and that Goldwagen Pietermaritzburg is not taking it's clients serious. I need this problem to be solved to my satisfaction as soon a possible, I don't not have another car and I'm working long distances with it.

It must be born in every one's mind that the fuel price is very expensive, so my car is carrently using the fuel very excessively with this faulty part.

If I knew that this is what will happen to me with this faulty part from Goldwagen Pietrrmaritzburg I would not have bought the part from them, I would have bought it from somewhere else.

It will be very difficult for me to even recommend Goldwagen as a good quality vehicle parts shop as I believe they sold me an item with a very poor quality and with their response when I had to report the it.

I hope my matter will be given a priority as I don't have another car, it is dangerous to drive a car with that faulty part. It is also not economically to drive a car with that faulty part as it uses more fuel that before.
