Shock broken after 4 months.

Morning.

As I purchase a set off new shock at GOLDWAGEN RIVONIA..ON APRIL 19TH 2022

So one the weekend while we were driving. One of the stuts broke clean off on top..

Went back this morning showing them the shock that I have bought from them (4 months)..that the stut on top broke off clean..the gentleman said straight "sorry there is no guarantee on the shock if you hit a pothole?? .there for we can't help you..

1ste ..if i hit a pothole so big and hard that the stut must broke off ,my tyer/rim will be damaged by the pothole as well..I still drove from brits to roodepoort with a broke shock(,unknown it was snapped) ..I did hear the noise and was after 10 pm .I was not going to stop at that time of the night .so from now on I will drive the extra mile to Midas or Auto zone...have a lekker day #GOLDWAGEN.
