Hilux steering ring

Bought a steering ring for my Hilux for R580 as the hooter was not working from Goldwagen in vereeniging. Fitted it and installation was simple. Then drove to Pretoria and when I turned there was a loud click sound in the unit and now my airbag light is on and the hooter is not working again. Now when I phoned them and reported the problem it was said that I should take my vehicle for a diagnostic which costs R650 and give them the report then it will be sent away. This is very bad. The unit failed only 1 day old very bad service and customer concern.
