Goldwagen Secunda - Inconsiderate Muppets

One star is even being polite!

Goldwagen Secunda are probably the most inconsiderate people there is in the spares industry. I had an alternator belt snap on my vehicle (BMW F30) travelling from Ermelo to JHB. being a loyal Goldwagen supporter i managed to find a branch on route in Secunda as i had limited battery life left before the car would completely cut itself off. I called the branch at 12:50 advising them I am in urgent need of a belt in order to make it home to JHB on a Saturday. i was advised they would close at 1pm and i pushed hard to get there on time. Low and behold i arrived at 1pm on the dot - i was not allowed into the store even though there were customers inside. I asked to please see the manager that i had called on the phone but i was declined and told they closed they cant help. Pathetic if Goldwagen strives to help their customers in any way - in my case it was an emergency and i made the effort to call in advance for assistance to stay 5 mins for me to buy the part. staff that exited the building at 13:10 said there is nothing they can do as it is their time to go home and i should go elsewhere. The spare shop next door to Goldwagen, was more than willing to assist me with a belt and even assisted in fitting it! i have been supporting Goldwagen for years and because of this incident i will refuse to continue to support them - if they cant help a person in an emergency then they really dont care about their customers. Autozone, Midas and any alternative has now gained a new customer because of the way i was treated. Your staff should be disgusted in themselves as going home for a braai and drink was more important than assisting a person in desperate need. thank you and **** you
