FAULTY FUEL PUMP

<p>I went to Goldswagen and was advised to buy a certain fuel pump for my cobra. We installed the pump but this is not a car you use every day. on the second occassion I took the vehicle for a ride the fuel pump malfunctioned and the vehicle would not start. I took the fuel pump back with the original receipt. The sales consultant sent the pump away and two weeks later after I continually phoned I was told they would not replace the pump as this is not the vehicle it is intended for. 1. why did the sales consultant tell me that this was suitable and 2. regardless of the vehicle the pump broke due to being faulty and not because it was installed in a cobra. I think this is totally ridiculous and they clearly just wanted to get out giving me a replacement. The sales consultant then told me he could sell me another one. I declined as I told him if the pump was faulty again I would be sitting in the same boat where they would not replace to which he agreed.</p>
