8-11 Aug 2025 trip to Lesotho

The trip to Lesotho was well organized, and I truly enjoyed myself. However, there were a few things that made the experience less comfortable.

Firstly, although we were sharing, we were given single beds. Spending 3 nights and 4 days on a single bed was quite uncomfortable—especially after leaving my own comfortable bed at home and paying R7,000. At the very least, ¾ or double beds should be considered for shared bookings.

Secondly, for a package priced at R7,000, I believe the value could be improved. Only bed and breakfast was included, while all other meals were at our own cost—plus an expectation to pay a 10% tip on every meal. Including at least one additional meal per day (lunch or dinner) would make the package feel more worthwhile.

Lastly, when considering the total expenses beyond the package cost, the trip ended up being quite expensive. In fact, one could spend less (and possibly have more flexibility) by arranging a trip to Lesotho independently.

On a positive note, I would like to sincerely appreciate Tebogo and Thabisang, our drivers. They were excellent hosts throughout the trip, making the experience much more enjoyable. They truly deserve their flowers.

Overall, while I appreciate the effort that went into organizing the trip, I believe the travel agency can improve the value and comfort offered to match the price point.
