First experience was worse so as the first impressiin I got
My first experience with VW Braamfontein was a nightmare.I took my vehicle for an oil change service (15000km).In the morning I met the technician by the name of LEN who introduced himself and told me that he will be working on ny car. When I went to fetch the vehicle I was made to wait at reception for about 30 minutes.People who came after me were attended whilst I sat and waited.Until I walked to the lady at reception to enquire if is there a problem, why have I been made ro wait for this long.An indian lady who looked very tired and uniterested told me that they are trying to locate who worked on my vehicle because LEN didn't. After a while another white lady from reception came with a list of vehicles and asked my registration and told me that she called LEN and LEN told her that he does not have an iutstanding customer, all his cars have been fetched.I went to the reception againt for the second time and the indian lady told me that they are getting someone to come and help.Eventually Phakiso came and told me that he is the one who was working on my car because LEN was busy with a gearbox. He took me to the car,the first thing I saw was dirty door panels, and I said my car cannot be like this,I spent half of my Sunday cleaning it and now I fing the interior in this conditiin. There was literally mud,on the drivers door panel, the armrest console had visible patches, imagine dirt on a black surface,it shiws up clearly. It like the person who was inside my vehicle had literally been walking in mud before he entered my vehicle, even on the whilte panel where seat belt is hanging has lines of dirty water splash with lines where that dirt liquid was flowing.I showed Phakiso all this and he said he is hoing to call a washing bay supervisor, a yiung man showed up running with a wet cloth and I asked him if he was the supervisor,he said no and said this car was not brought to the washing bay.I am yet to drive the vehicle but alteady with the experience I had I have already preparered myself for the worst as to what was done mechanically.Their service is like taking a car to a car wash and it comes out dirtier than when you brouggt it.There is just no care or diligence, they dont take care of our cars, how can someone roll his dirty shoes all over your door panel.Phakiso begged me to bring the car back tomorrow so that they can wash it because what I was showing him was clearly visible. They must nit take us for granted,to us these cars means a lot and may be the only thing I own.I f they have many cars in their possession does not mean they must handle our cars anyhow. We are paying for this cars and we take care of them because we don't have hope of replacing them anytime soon,it pains then when you entrust your precious asset to a dealership and this is what you get as if they are helping you with monthly instalments.I expeect a call from tne dealer principal for an explanation.
