Vw Barons Edwin Swales

Dear clients I would like to form you of the service you can expect from VW Barons Edwin Swales. My Vehicle was booked in for a service on the 26th of August 2017, at the very same time I requested for my wheel alignment and balancing to also be done while my vehicle was there. Firstly they call it an express service which took 3 hours, secondly I was charged for work that wasn’t done. I then called in that Monday 28th of August 2017 requesting to speak to Craig who I was dealing with when my vehicle was booked in to date he is still returning my call. On the 30th I spoke to the Dealer Principal Shane Naidu who is another idiot like the rest of his staff. I had to take my vehicle 4 times to the dealership and they still could not sort it out. 1. Vehicle was booked in for service and wheel alignment and balancing .No work done on the tyres. 2. Informed the work was done when I questioned them “please explain how my tyres were removed without me providing the lock nut” No one could answer me. Balancing was done only. 3. The work was done my vehicle was pulling to the left and had a very bad vibration from 60kms to 120kms. 4. Not sure what was wrong and the workshop foremen to drive my vehicle, which he did a. The road is bumpy that’s the reason for the vibration. b. Vehicle pulling to the left road drainage is causing the vehicle to pull to the left. ( all roads drainage to the left as per VW Barons Edwin Swales foremen) Did not want to waste more of my time, this idiot was very rude on the drive cutting me off while talking. We returned to the dealership he put my vehicle on the ramp turned my tyres with his hand and said everything is fine you can see tyres are fine…. To Date 11th October 2017, dealer Principal Shane Naidu is still sorting out this matter. Also please note they don’t take on warranty claims as they don’t get paid from the warranty department. Best to go to VW ALPINE IN PINETOWN vehicle’s go in once and problem sorted out. Never again will I go to VW Barons Edwin Swales.
