REFUSSAL TO PAY BACK DEPOSIT PAID
Vuyatela was paid a deposit of R1000 in December 2014 for airtime which was supposed to be used as part of a proof of concept for testing Diginet and VOIP telecommunications in our area. This was supposed to commence in January 2015. However by May 2015 the services had not yet been implemented and we contacted another company to help with our PABX telephone system and the Diginet services. This was done in a matter of days and we no longer needed the services of Vuyatela. A request was sent to them to refund the deposit and initially they responded positively and requested the banking details in order to do the refund. Now however they are refusing to refund, as we still have equipment on the premises which belong to them and they first want to test the equipment and see if all is still in working order before refunding the deposit which was for AIRTIME. In none of the contracts was a clause which specified that they first have to test their equipment and find it in working order, their technicians reported our routers as broken, but they are still working currently. We have informed them they can collect as soon as payment has been made - still refusing
