Service Ports and ONT Modem Restricted

It is with utter disgust that we unable to either port forward or apply DDNS to the ONT units, to allow alternative routers or firewalls to do the needed NAT.

I have logged two request with two different ISP where i have accounts and neither of the two has returned with a answer.

As per the points on Mitchells Fibres Website, one of the things they made mention is safety and Security, how do we point the CCTV and Security systems to the outside. If we unable to apply the needed NAT rules in the firewall without a DDNS app**** on the ONT.

Should anybody of the Vuma Reach, read this message i would welcome you advise at soonest. This service has literaly become the opposite of ADSL in which it has restrictions in opening the needed service ports.

Inittialy the ONT was accessable and could be configured accordingly.

I think much has been said, the next thing is to address it with a body and request MyBroadband and Techcentral to right up a article relating to this matter. In no ways is this clearly stated in any terms or conditions of the ISP neither Vuma Reach that ports or DDNS services will be block.

I will further research if Vuma Reach is registered with the ISPA or other Internet Infrastructure bodies to open a complaint.
