No Online Games for a Year

For over a year now I've been trying to get my online gaming to work to no avail. Afrihost has opened numerous tickets but the problem is never resolved. Weirdly using a VPN lets me at least log in to my games however actually playing using a VPN is dreadful as the Ping is really high when using a VPN.
