Worse manager service and Client care I have seen in my life

So I have asked Vox that they Down grade my line from a 500/500 starting Feb and this was arranged in Dec already, Feb started and I got the invoice for a 500/500 line. I then contacted the George branch as that is where I live and on the 2nd of Feb they told me that it will be handled and that they will contact me back, I then wait and wait it is Saturday the 5th now and I eventually get hold of the manger of the George Wester cape Vox team. and I send him a voice note to explain what is going on. He then intern tells me that he is not going to listen to my voice note and that he will talk to me on Monday. Why must the client wait a week and then pay the additional cost because of the bad service and then be told by a manger that he basically does not care right now about your issue. I have never in my live seen any one send me a text msg saying this...

Just another clear indication of in what direction our beloved country is going in....

As I am not in the country it is not possible for me to contact vox via normal phone call and I have to contact the team for assistance via whatsapp. explaining my issue to the team regarding the downgrade and me trying my best to avoid a pro rata payment for a downgradeI get hold of the Manager because the staff that has been working with me does not get back to me in any way whatsoever in telling me what is going to be done or what has been done with the issue,I send a voice note to the manager explaining to him what the issue is and he tells me thisIm not going to listen to a 5 min voice note. I will take it up with the relevant team on Monday morning.I have never seen anyone speak to a client this way when the only thing the client is trying to do is solve an issue that was created by the team he is trying to talk to.

If your team is not able to function the way they should, you as a manager should resolve the issue and when the client is trying to explain what the issue is and you tell him that you will not listen to the voice note even......

5 min out of your day could make the client happy for a year... but you as a manager are too concerned that it is not your office hours..

If your team knew what they were doing in the first place and came back to the client when he was supposed to then I would not have had to contact you in the first place, so telling an already frustrated client that you are not going to listen to him is the epiphany of bad service!

Your team made me promises when you sold me the package and if that person does not work there any more or cant be contacted it's not the client's problem it is your duty to be an ambassador of the company and assist your team where they fall short.

Telling every one that you are a leading company in your industry is a great sales technique but then giving them the service that this manager gives on a managerial level is honestly a really bad reflection of the entire company and shows exactly how he treats his team if this is the way he speaks to a client.

I honestly hope that my issue gets resolved and that this manager gets demoted asap and some one with much more integrity is placed into this position to lead his team and be there for them and the client when needed, You as a manager should know that your team does not work for you, you work for your team.... being a manager does not mean you can say and do what you want to to who you want to but to manage enquiries if the team is not able to do so or direct a client to the correct person who can assist him with the problem.

The standard of the service industry in South Africa is going down day by day and you have managers in positions that proves the reason for every one thinking that exact fact.

I hope that whoever reads this will take this to heart and understand the frustration from a client's perspective and seriously look into how the teams are treated by this manager.
