VoxTelecom: Poor Service Delivery - Money Collectors

I signed a Fiber-to-the-Home contract with Vox for a 50 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed. However, after conducting several speed tests, I found that 80% of the time, they failed to deliver at least 50% of the agreed contractual speed. I have never achieved the agreed-upon contractual speed of 50 Mbps.

Due to the non-compliance with the contractual agreement, I decided to cancel my service and provided them with proof of the speed test results. Despite sending multiple emails starting from January 2024, I have not received any responses from Vox. While they acknowledge the receipt of emails, they have not addressed the issues.

Even when attempting to contact them via phone, I had to endure hold times exceeding 45 minutes, and it was often a stroke of luck to speak to a representative. As my time is valuable, I find this poor service delivery unacceptable.

To address the poor service delivery:

The provided fiber speed does not meet the contractual agreement. Emails are not being responded to despite acknowledgments of receipt. The extended wait times on the phone make it difficult to communicate and resolve issues promptly.

I will not recommend VOX to any person.

I am still awaiting the return call from Zelmar regarding the cancellation fee. She said she would review the account and return a call to me in person.

Since the day I post and the reply from VocTelecom NO other communication till now.

They also made a mistake with my cancelation date and I would have paid for a month that I did not require the service of VoxTelecom anymore as I moved over to another service provider with a lower speed that is more expensive but they have an active and reliable customer support system in place with open communication lines.
As per my e-mail and the Consumer Protection Act, they can not keep me liable for my cancelation due to poor service delivery.

The feedback on HelloPeter is a clear reflection of the service.

Dear Less-Meriel, It has been four days since I attempted to contact you without receiving a response, neither from you nor from the lady who assured me of personal follow-up regarding my account. I am concerned about the level of communication and service provided to clients in this matter. VoxTelecom has failed to adhere to the contracted agreement regarding the promised internet speed and has consistently experienced interruptions in service. As a paying client, I have the right to terminate the service under these circumstances. I kindly request confirmation that the refund for the disputed charges will be promptly processed and deposited back into my account within five working days. It is imperative that VoxTelecom addresses this matter expediently, especially considering that the funds were deducted from my account after I had previously informed VoxTelecom of the cancellation of the debit order with my bank. I await your prompt response. Failure to address this matter will compel me to escalate it further. It is unacceptable that VoxTelecom ignores emails regarding unresolved matters, especially when they have been informed that the issue needs to be resolved directly between the involved parties before further escalation.
Sincerely,
RG

Dear All,
I would like to formally document the following matter as well.
VoxTelecom Technical has contacted me today (21/02/2024 @ 14:20 from +***0), regarding the speed issue, which was the reason for my cancellation at the end of December 2023. Throughout the entire month of January 2024 until February 21, 2024, I did not receive any communication nor phone calls . My service concluded at the end of January 2024.
I am unclear as to VoxTelecom's intentions in attempting to disseminate false information to avoid reimbursing me the R1100 due to contractual breach. As previously stated, the contract explicitly stipulates a 50 Mbps upload and download speed, which cannot be deviated from.
I will escalate this matter further as I believe I am not the only customer facing this issue. The poor service provided by VoxTelecom is evident on Hello Peter, as well as in the email trails and phone calls such as today's.
I hope that VoxTelecom will acknowledge that they too can breach the terms of the contract from time to time. I will exercise my consumer rights to resolve this matter.

PS. Please do not remove anyone from the email chain.

Kind Regards,
Vox Telecom
