Vox Telecom YahClick - *****ing your data - Absolute *******!

I can't describe the absolute lack of reporting, service and down right ******* around how our data get's used through our YahClick satellite service. We purchased a 12.5Gig FAP token this afternoon (13h00) for R1300. By 20h00 our 12.5Gig data was used up.

When calling to find out how this happened they could not supply use a detailed report on how this happened. They just said that there was downloads happening in the background. There is no transparency!

We run a small business and there is absolutely no way in hell this could happen. All our computers & devices are set manually to download software for the very reason to save data cost. Our network is protected by a WAP2 secure password which only we know. We run MacKeeper and BitDefender to monitor maleware/viruses and we do not stream any tv/video services. DropBox and other cloud storage services we use are closely monitored for data uses.

We have an exorbitant monthly contract (R4825/pm) for a service that is beyond useless! All they could recommend is that we purchase another 12.5Gig FAP token @ R1300.

What makes this even more ridiculous is that when we use Vodacom 3G (which is often the case, as the connection is constantly unstable) and linked to the same WiFi setup this does not happen.

I am lost for words and so disappointed with YahClick that we are seriously thinking about cancelling our service and please I can’t emphasise enough to future customers thinking about taking out a contract with YahClick to look at alternatives. They are an absolute ripoff!

Well, this what Vox Telecom's response was.....
"We have received your complaint and would like to address this with you.
We have done an investigation on your complaint logged with hellopeter.com and have found the following.
As per your request on the 11/14/2016 you requested a token to be released as your monthly quote of 50GB was used up on the Yahclick system.
A token which will give you a total of 12.5GB of data back to use until your next refill which is on the 22nd of each month.
We have found that the data was used on the same day 11/14/2016 between the hours of 12pm and 7pm, a total of 13 474MB was used.
This will indicate that the user has used the data.
We will not be able to tell you on what the data was used as the POPI act prevents us from seeing this as well as you do not have a managed firewall onsite from VOX.
We are only able to see the amount of data used and on which date and time the data was used."

Good day Paul,
As per feedback, you have requested for a FAP token to be loaded to your account once your data has been depleted (14 November 2016).
This FAP token’s data has been depleted as well – usage report can be provided.
Unfortunately, Vox will not be able to provide you with a detailed usage report (mentioning the sites visited, which used the data) – the reason for this is because there is no firewall on site, thus Vox won’t be able to say what it was used on.
One of our agents and a Technical Manager has been trying to get hold of you on numerous occasions, however you were unable to take our calls.
Thank you.

Vox Telecom.
