Vox refusing to set appointment to fix brand new installed router

After waiting for a month for Vumatel to install fibre in my house, Vox arrived about a week later to do my router. In that time the fibre line was broken downstream by Johannesburg Water digging up water pipes for some reason, probably upgrades. So the technician, with his laptop, apparently configured the router, plugged it in and said that it will work the moment the line is restored.

After 2 weeks of daily phone calls and e-mails, Vuma finally fixed the line. But of course the router does not work. In the two weeks since then I have called and mailed Vox every single day. Every time they tell me some escalation rubish and tell me it will be resolved soon. Yet not a single appointment has been set for a technician to come to my house.

An IT technician came to my place to diagnose the problem privately. He said the router can not communicate with Vox as the IP on the router for Vox's servers is incorrect. Thus DNS does not resolve host and therefore we have no internet service.

Since it is common knowledge on this site, Vox locks their customes out of the router, so I am not even able to set up a public IP with Google etc. The Router is unuseable. From what I understand, a very quick issue to fix. Yet, 2 weeks later, not even an attempt at making an appointment has been made. Do youself a favour everyone, IGNORE these guys completely. Do not even attempt to use them as your ISP because it will be the biggest regret of your life.
