Vox- No flexibillity cost them a customer

I am very unhappy about the rigid and non customer centric the service from Vox is. I have to move house at the end of this month. I am moving within the same suburb but different complex. One Sales person told me his manager said I must process premises move request. The other one also said I must pay a full cancelation fee at this address even though I just have 2 months left on my year contract. The cancelation fee is the installation costs done the year previous. About the cancelation fee. I was told that this is a month to month contract and can cancel at any time, by the salesman that sold the contract to me. No mention of cancelation fee. I do understand that it is prudent for them to ensure they don't lose money but they are chasing away a loyal customer. I am willing to pay a pro rata cancelation fee, but to charge me the full amount with only 2 months left don't seem fair. I don’t want to leave them as a service provider, but it is not fair to pay 1750 cancelation + 1 months service fee as a penalty.. How is that a "reasonable penalty" when the contract is 4/5 complete? Even if I loved their service I will probably pay the cancelation and move to a completely different service provider. Talk about "cutting of your nose to spite your face".

Thank You Dylan
