Vox Keeping you Hostage and cannot get new ISP
I have been trying to cancel a fibre order and already signed up with a different ISP, MWeb due to Vox not being able to do the installation from the 10th of September 2020.
I have been phoning since the beginning of January 2021 every day and asking for a confirmation of cancellation and still haven't received the confirmation.
I already sent the confirmation of a new order from Mweb through to their representative, Atman Oberholzer, and explained to him that I am definitely not moving forward with Vox.
I have also sent a cancellation letter to ***, ***, ***, ***, ***, ***, ***, and ***.
Every time I speak to Vox directly, their representatives tell me that they have canceled the cancellation and that it has not been canceled. I have further been told every day that I will receive a confirmation of cancellation and up to this point, I still have no confirmation.
Today, the 28th of January I have been told by MWeb that they canceled my fibre order due to Vox not canceling theirs. This means that I will have to start the 14-day process all over again only after I receive a cancellation letter from Vox.
I have asked their regional manager Rouen Heidberg to cancel the order and still, they don't proceed to cancel it. They just try to keep on trying to sell me on another product, which I am not interested in.
It seems that they are now keeping me hostage as I am unable to sign up with a different ISP until they cancel the order from their side.
It seems that I will eventually be forced to go to an attorney or other avenues to get them to proceed with a cancellation for something that they have not even delivered on.
