Vox telecommunication is one of the few first-world companies left in this broken third-world country. When I originally joined them, several years ago at the height of the covid pandemic to acquire one of their phone packages called “VOBI,” for a monthly fee of R29,69 & 49c per minute to cell phones or landlines. They were working from home and yet there were 3 engineers helping me to set up the app on my phone ON A SUNDAY. This gives me a dedicated 087 phone number to use for all my non- WhatsApp calls. All calls to 087 numbers are FREE. More & more businesses are using their R 350/month, unlimited calls option, so all calls to them are free.
