Vox is a **** and has no respect for its clients.
I have experienced the worst possible service from Vox. My network was down from the 10th to the 25th March 2026. This was by no fault of my own but by a technician employed under Vox. We learnt that the network was cut due to our neighbor also having installed Vox Fibre - the technician tasked with the installation removed our cable when setting up our neighbor's fibre. This information was shared with us by the technician that was sent out to restore connection. Three technicians failed to fix the problem - it was only on the 4th visit that it was restored. Shortly after the network was again cut due to Vox's migration from Vodacom to Vumatel. The network was again down from the 27th March until the 24th April 2026, with very little resolution and contact from Vox. I will commend only one person from Vox, Keenan Naicker, a technician who assisted and tried to follow up as much as possible via email with regards to the network being down. He unfortunately does not work in the accounts or billing department, because I am sure that my query would've been resolved. I am billed R899 per month and only resolved a credit of R540 towards my account for the apparent Vodacom migration time - no explanation provided as to how this was calculated. This credit does not seem sufficient as downtime was for 29 days (27 March to 24 April) - are we not billed for 30/31 days? VOX HAS REFUSED TO CREDIT ME FOR THE MARCH DOWNTIME - 15 DAYS! My partner has lost his job due to his remote work requirements of network all thanks to Vox.
I even asked that my package be downgraded be downgraded but was told that no changes can be made to account while the network was down - how convenient right?
I will strongly advise any person to go with any other network provider. Vox is a ****

With the first outage (10- 25th March 2026) I emailed and whatsapped almost everyday, received multiple reference numbers, and yet VOX wants to tell me that they won't credit me because it shows that my fibre line was active. What nonsense is that? So I would actively call and follow up for a line that is working? Make it make sense!
With the second, and longer outage, due to the Vodacom/ Vumatel migration I was down from the 27th March and the connection only worked on the 24th. Each time Vox would call me to follow up for a 2 week period leading up the 24th April 2026, the agent would tell me that it shows on their end that my line is connected and active. I told them it was not working each time. And this what after I had to perform all the trouble shooting prompts - I did this with each call! So if the Debtors department is basing their calculation on this, then your system is extremely flawed. If you investigated properly you will see that a technician came out on the 24th April and had to replace the router. It is only after he installed the new router that our connection was restored. Vox needs to go back and track the full history of my reference numbers, my follow ups, and how each time I was told everything looks fine on your side but I always disclosed that my network is still not working. Then you need to double check the date that the technician was sent out and did the replacement of the router - it is on this date that everything worked again.
You will not bully me into accepting a credit that is incorrect! You can also not tell me that by virtue of your system showing my line was fine, that that is what you base your decisions on. Your system and investigating staff are ***********. If this is the business model you operate on, your business is going to fail. And judging by all the negative reviews it seems to be a common practice that your network is poor and the urgency at which you restore client's services is even worse - but you will quickly demand payment towards incorrectly calculated accounts and statements.
I am going to take this further as I have all my reference numbers and interactions recorded. Dates, times, reference numbers, names of call centre agents and various technicians. I will not let this rest as this is a violation of my right as a consumer.
Look into my account and do it properly! You can't expect an accounts department to allocate offline days without first liaising with technicians and PROPERLY looking at reference numbers - BY THIS I MEAN READING ALL THE NOTES THAT THE AGENTS MADE AND/OR LISTENING TO THE CALL LOGS!
