Vox billing shambles and pathetic customer service
I have been been a happy customer of Vox for over a year until I moved that’s when I realized that the service I was about to get and continue to get would be absolutely disgusting! A month before I moved I called Vox to ask them what needed to be done to cancel my line and move it to a new address. I was told (just take your router and then the guys will come connect it at the new address) when we got closer to the move date I called Vox again to see if we were still on track and when a technician could come to the new house to connect the Fibre. This is when the nightmare began. I was told that the line at the old place had not been cancelled so they would now have to cancel the line which they needed a calendar months notice for and if I wanted to have a new line installed in the new place it would take up to 6 weeks for the new installation. I then escalated it to a “manager” by the name of Clinton who assured me that the issue would be escalated and resolved and a the new line activated in the new place within 5 working days as the complex already had Fibre installed. Two weeks later and a small fortune later in prepaid WiFi to run my office from home and then tv ect they installed my Fibre. Come month end I get my statement and I see I’m being charged for the old address the new address and a pro rata charge putting my miserable 10mb line at just under R2000! I am still waiting for the credit to be passed for the old address and not one manager will answer my calls or e-mails! Honestly I understand that we are working in trying times but this is absolutely pathetic service! I will never refer anyone to Vox based on this absolutely shocking service I have received. (Should say lack of service)
