VOC TELECOMS - OVERALL A BAD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH

I have contacted Vox Telecom at the end of September 2021 to make use of their internet services from the 1st of November 2021. A few days after my call a technician was at my house to check if I have a fibre line and if the line is active. The test was done but he actually activated the line and I told him more than once that I only need the services from the 1st of November 2021 as I have to cancel my current service provider at the end of October 2021. During October I received quite a few calls from Vox when can the router be delivered and every time I confirmed that I need the service from the 1st of November 2021 and this was also confirmed by emails. On the 28th of October 2021 I received the router to start using the services. They actually now wants payment from the 1st of October 2021 - on the 6th of November 2021 I cancelled the services and I unplugged the router and the plug that was activated by the technician and informed Vox that they must come and fetch their equipment which was not done to date. Now I receive threating emails for additional costs etc to the amount of over R4000 which I am not going to pay them. How can I pay for services which was not used during the entire of October and was not requested for October. I made it very clear that I only need the services from 1 November 2021. Spoke to quite a few people in finance and they just not assisting or listening to what I have to say. I keep on receiving emails with the statements that I need to pay. The original amount was R1200 now it is over R4000.
