Very poor service

Good day, We have recently signed up with Vox Telecoms in Port Elizabeth and I am most dissatisfied with the service I have received thus far. Firstly, we received a quotation in May to which we accepted and gave the go-ahead. We received an e-mail on the 1st June stating that there would be an increase. At this point, our line was not even activated yet. I was quoted a price to which we accepted and then just to be told it has been increased and it is out of Vox's hands. I then queried this and was given 110 excuses which are just not acceptable because if I was quoted an amount and I accepted the work to be done based on the quote received, how is it even possible for a price increase before our line was even activated. Secondly, I completed all the relevant forms with banking details for a debit order, and so on. I then received more e-mails asking for the same information I input into the form, which is quite irritating. Then I receive my pro-rata invoice which says the payment date is the 1st July. I queried with 2 different individuals whether we are billed in arrears or in advance, I was told we are billed in advance and the payment will go off within the next day or two. I then spoke to the accounts department who said we will be billed for the pro-rata invoice and the month of July on the 1st July. I am more than happy with this arrangement, but why can I not get the correct information from the start. I do not want a debit order, I would prefer to pay via eft, but I am having no luck in finding out whether the details that were inserted into the application form have been loaded onto the system. I must say this is very disappointing and most dissatisfying especially given the current pandemic and an increase in payment. If I knew it would cost this amount I would have looked elsewhere. I hope someone would be able to let me know whether there is a debit order loaded or not so that I can make payment via eft as this would be my preferred way of payment but I also don't want to make a payment just for the debit order to go off.
