Unprofessional service from Vox Telecoms
I bought a home in Parkview, Johannesburg. The owner had a Vox Fibre service contract for the home. At the beginning of August the previous owner informed Vox that the contract need to come to an end effective date 30 Sept, and that a new contract need to be put in place with myself the new owner effective 1st October. For 3 weeks I emailed and phoned the particular consultant, but to no avail. During September I was able track him down and a contract was signed. Their automated RICA certification did not work, and it took two weeks to sort out after numerous calls and emails that get unanswered. I was then promised that the order has been placed with Frogfoot the infrastructure provider and that the fibre will be reactivated within a week. Which is laughable, as it was just a contract transfer with no new infrastructure or router requirements. Needless to say after numerous of promises, blaming first their internal project team, then Footfrog, and most recently a “third party”, 30 days later my home and business have still no service . Vox has just gone dead on my calls and emails requesting feedback. This is the most slapgat company I have ever delt with....if I was not so far down the track I would rather just have opted for MWEB instead and saved me and my family all the frustration and money trying to get hold of these unprofessional crowd.
