My mother suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and I’ve been appointed by the Master of the High Court to manage her finances as she is incapable of doing so herself.

In Feb 2019 I cancelled her Vox line as she no longer needed it. Proof of cancellation was emailed to us.

Now more than a year later, Vox has started calling me relentlessly looking for my mother. I’m assuming they think she owes money to them. When I explain that my mother has Alzheimer’s and cannot speak to them they still refuse to deal with me or give out information about the account. I’ve emailed my letter of Administratorship to them twice and they do not reply to me.

Now debt collectors have started contacting me looking for my mother. I’ve explained the entire situation to them too and emailed my letter of administratorship to them. They too refuse to enlighten me as to why Vox thinks my mother owes them money.

Vox is an ********* company and the way they are treating us is utterly abhorrent. My mother is unable to defend herself and they are taking full advantage of that fact. And to make matters worse they refuse to deal with me despite me being the person legally appointed to act on her behalf.
