Unable to deliver Fibre reliably

Whatever you do, don't go Vox. I've used them for the pas few months, and their standout service is passing the buck and not delivering Internet. If you want to pay them lots of money for a red flashing light, well then these are the guys. I hear never ending complaints about Fibrehood, but yet they choose to still use them.

Utterly appalling, worse service than Telkom, by FAR!

They seem utterly incapable to fixing the most basic problems. I have had several outages over the past few months. The last time I had this, I TOLD them that the next time I'd be writing to HelloPeter. Well, a couple weeks later, and here we are. Total blackout, no conception of what the problem is.

Even when incetivised to make sure there's no break in service, they're not competant enough to ensure this.

Use somebody reliable. Use Telkom or Afrihost, or smoke signals. Anything other than this *******. They're unable tp even get a call centre number right, let alone man one, or keep an internet service running. Worst service EVER!

Just to add some information: the problem is apparently with their supp**** Fibrehoods, again. They were unwilling to escalate and basically just told me that I must just deal without the internet for the entire weekend, and they'll contact the supplier again on Monday.

So don't use Vox if you want your Internet to work after hours.

Oh, and their call centre manager: too much of a snivelling ***ard to speak to me, even thought I was utterly civil and friendly (if unhappy) with the call centre agent. Useless, doesn't work after hours, ***ardly.

Good summary of Vox

Good Morning Sean,

As per the feedback received, we can confirm that your line has been up and running since Sunday the 26th June 2016. We can also confirm that the upstream fibre provider was performing maintenance on the cables in your area and accidently cut the cables feeding your particular street.

We have assisted in organising with them to resolve this matter accordingly.
