The good old customer must do all the work ISP
Ah yes, the good old customer must do all the work ISP. They are the best at not knowing what is going on. Every time you call them, you must be ready to hear another story. This will take up more than a month of your time so if you hate yourself, Vox is your ISP. The 7th of September I embarked on my journey with them, little did I know about the horrors ahead. Herman was our champion to help me on this quest. After I submitted all the documentations, I got an email from Vox saying that there is an issue. I found out that Vumatel will not release the line because it is still in the name of the previous owner. You can head over to their Hellopeter page to read my review of them too. So, I found that line issue and I called Herman. He said that when this happens, I must wait until end of the month for the line to be released. This did not sound great, so I called the previous owner, and we sent an email to his ISP(Cybersmart). They were friendly and assisted me with my request to release the line. This was on the 9th and the line was released on the 10th of September on their system. Knowing that they would release the line I was hopeful. The next day I Whatsapped Herman and he said that he will check their system. There was a lot of days since then that he just checked their system and that nothing could be done. He said that Vumatel must release the line still. There was a weird incident were a person from Vumatel called me saying that the line will be released from their side and that they control it regardless of what the ISP say. My wife also started to call Vox. She spoke with a different person, and he said that we need to send them proof of residence. The proof was needed so that Vumatel knows that we are the owners, so both my wife and I did this but still nothing happened. I phoned Vumatel myself and found that the line was still in fact on the previous owner’s name. So, we are at the end of my tale, on the 4th of October. My patients are growing thin, and I don’t understand how these companies can live with themselves. I don’t get how they can have such bad communication with their vendors, and I don’t get how they can provide such #insertcursewordhere customer service.
