Terrible and Unprofessional Service!!!!!!
To whom it may concern I am writing to express my views on Vox Telecom for their disgraceful, unprofessional service and most inconsiderate ISP.
My sister(Annelize Mary Naidoo) who is the account holder of our fibre line with vox has requested assistance with moving of the fibre line to a new address. We were then notified that we have to request cancellation and re-apply. Upon doing this, she is now requested to pay a cancellation fee of R2900+ Rands. We have had the line for around 4 months now. And the reason for us wanting to move the line is because the current premises(17 Andes Street, Lenasia South, Ext 4,1829)we are staying and renting at has been sold and the new owners are demolishing and rebuilding the house from scratch. When we have signed up for the fibre deal. We have been told that the service is from month to month and now this. This is the first time ive ever heard a fibre/Isp cannot assist in moving locations. I am posting this review on behalf of my sister. I need someone within Vox to please contact me and escalate or assist me with moving the internet line as getting someone else to take over the line is not an option hence we just need assistance to move the line and activate it on/to the new premises in the same area (2616 Hibiscus Cresent, Lenasia South, Ext 2,1829) Account number :*** ***

As per the Subscriber Agreement, Vox waivers the Set Up and Configuration/ Installation Fees upon signup on the condition that the Service remains active for a minimum period of 12 months.
The element of the Service that is comprised of the provision of the Circuit is provided to the specific address set out in the Subscriber Agreement with a Circuit leased by Vox from a network operator. Accordingly, the provision of the Circuit is not transferrable to another premises.
Notwithstanding that the cancellation is necessitated by relocation, Vox needs to recover such costs associated with such cancellation.
