Suspension Notice Over R70 After Extended Downtime – Unacceptable

I am extremely disappointed in the service and billing practices from Vox.

I had a debit order issue which I immediately corrected by reinstating the debit order. However, it took Vox three days to process the debit order again, and it was then returned again through no fault of my own. I paid my normal subscription in full yesterday with my card.

Now I have received a suspension notice for R70.62, which is unacceptable considering I was offline for more than a week in June due to Vox’s service issues.

It is shocking that I can be threatened with suspension over such a small amount when I lost both time and money because I had no internet access for over a week.

I would like this charge reversed, and I expect compensation for the downtime I experienced. This is not how loyal customers should be treated.

I would like to pursue my claim for the 2 weeks that I had no internet in June. You can then get your R70.62 out of that claim. I did send an email at the time to request a credit and I received absolutely NO RESPONSE. I have damages as well regarding the no internet and I was not even assisted with a wifi router so that I could get my work done at that time for an audit I had to complete.

Coincidentally, I initiated the debit order on the 28th. I was then told on the 2nd that my monthly payment had been successfully debited. On the 5th, I received an email stating that the debit was rejected.

I have kept all email correspondence between Vox and myself to support my timeline.

I do not understand why a debit order that I initiated on the 28th took 8 days to reflect, nor why I was informed it was successful and then later told it failed. This is confusing, misleading and unacceptable.
I am formally requesting that these charges be reversed.
