Shockingly bad service
Good day My router installation was done today after an endless struggle to get Vox to respond. I am email both accounts that I have emails addresses for in the hope of getting a response from 1. In the past I would received an automated response but NO follow up of follow through! I am posting here from my ADSL connection as fortunately I could only give notice today. After an enormous struggle to get my installation done, several unanswered emails from VOX, I unfortunately have to say this is the most disappointed I could ever have been in a service provider!! There is "free router" included but 5 meters away from the router I hardly have signal literally a dot and 10 meters away NOTHING Unless in the room or the router, or within 5 meters from the routers I lose signal and devices switch to 4G. .. Then I am told to buy a booster? Why? My currently OLD ADSL router provides WIFI throughout my house, into the garden and as far as my neighbours!! I am not sure if the routers is bad but I do know the service as been shockingly bad from the minute I clicked ACCEPT!! Secondly. I initially ordered a 100/10 and was then advised by YOUR sales team that the 100/100 was a better option. I had to resubmit a request. What VOX didn't tell me until I started querying when the installation was going to be done was that they had not approved the 100/100 and that the 100/10 was being installed, this after I received confirmation of the 100/100 and accepted the agreement. NOW, my day one.. I have a issue and I am told a technician will only be available from Monday and it could take up to 3 days!! So now I need to keep paying for my ADSL AND Fibre because of this SHOCKING service! I told your team I wanted to cancel my agreement in this past week but I was told they would sort it out!! Well now here we are!! And let me tell you!! I am not going to be paying for both services.. VOX will need to come to the party! I cannot work on the current fibre/router just installed so I need to keep my old connectivity alive!! Thirdly, I asked to have my Telkom number be ported to VOX. No one can tell me when this will happen, how it will happen. So I am AGAIN not going to be given an opportunity to cancel the Telkom line!! So I will be expected to pay both, I assume? So today after nearly being in tears about this and completely disappointed. I am going to cancel my services with VOX. Today is 1 February, I am giving you a months notice. AND I AM NOT going to pay a cancellation fee as the services as been terrible and I am sure the consumer protection courts would support me my in this. I am also obliged to give a months notice on the ADSL which I now cannot do so will be paying another 2 months on a service that was supposed to have been replaced by this fibre installation.
