Shocking service from sales 'specialists'
I have been reading through some of the reviews of vox telecom now and am not surprised by the experiences some customers have been having regarding vox's 'sales specialists'. There seems to be quite an attitude in which they feel they are doing us, the customer, a favour by offering us these 'specials' and then speaking to us like we're children when we make fair inquiries. When I initially dealt with Lee-Ann De Beer, in the beginning of April, I received amazing service. I explained that I already had a vumatel install and the fibre router from the previous year and am now looking for another ISP. She immediately sent me an offer. However I explained that i would only accept it closer to the end of the month because I still had a month left on my previous contract. On 26 April I accepted the offer from Vox. That afternoon I received a whatsapp from Wesley Morrison explaining that they needed my RICA documents. This was sent on Monday 29 April. Vuma also contacted me in the interim and I explained that I was going with Vox. By 1 May I sent a follow up email to explain that I already have all the hardware and only require the connection. Noting that the 1st is a public holiday, I waited but received no feedback so by the 3rd I mailed inquiring about the delay. Dealing with Wesley Morrison initially seemed okay, however, I found him to be unapologetic nor having any sense of true customer service. A little extension of kindness or understanding goes a lot further than stating we are 'still within our standard turnaround time', or asking whether I've considered other 'clients who have ordered before me'?
Hopefully you have a better experience than I did.
