Release the Line Back to the FNO
My previous review has been deleted.
I put in a cancellation on March 15th and paid the cancellation penalty. Junalin Domingo said the cancellation would be done by 01 June 2024.
I wait for more than 20 minutes to reach retentions, or the call gets cut off and I call back and go through the same thing.
The fibre line for my account needs to be released back to OpenServe.
Release the line. This is nonsense!

08 Jun 2024, 21:45You will note that subsequent to sending the cancellation request, I followed up with your team via e-Mail on two separate occasions. Your rep (Junalin Domingo) made contact on 09 April 2024 stating that the cancellation would only be processed for 01 June 2024. I did not agree with this because the cancellation request was sent in March which made April the notice month but my need for internet connectivity was more important, and I decided not to get my dander up.J. Domingo insisted that she needed to speak with me, over the phone, to confirm the cancellation but I had already sent a request and confirmed via e-Mail. My reluctance to speak with anyone from vox was (and still is) because I have grown sick of your support team and their lack of effectiveness.
Timeline:15 March 2024- Cancellation request submission. Reference “VOX***6” received.
23 March 2024- 1st follow up. vox non-responsive.
06 April 2024- 2nd follow up.
09 April 2024- In response, Junalin Domingo indicated that the cancellation would take effect on 01 June 2024.
12 April 2024- I sent an e-Mail expressing my position, emphasising my dissatisfaction, and reiterating my desire to cancel.
08 May 2024- During a call logged as “VOX***7,” I spoke to a rep (whose name I cannot recall) and they confirmed that the cancellation of the line was still scheduled for 01 June 2024.
31 May 2024- I contacted vox support to confirm the cancellation of the line. At this point I was connected to J. Domingo, who assured me that the cancellation would be backdated to ensure it takes effect on 01 June 2024.- Received “cancellation quote”.- Published scathing rant, on Hellopeter, with similar detail to this e-Mail.
04 June 2024- Received vox statement, indicating the balance to be paid on the cancelled service.
05 June 2024- Reached vox support, who informed me that the cancellation went through. The rep, however, was reluctant to give me a date of when the line would be released back to OpenServe.- Made realtime payment, for balance.
08 June 2024- Got through to vox, at least twice. I was told the cancellations’ team closes at 1400 and was “put through” to the retentions department. Waited ±30 minutes, did not reach retentions and the call got cut off.- Logged onto to Hellopeter, to follow up on the review published on 31 May 2024. Found that the review had been removed.- Published another one, got a response that vox support would contact me directly to handle the matter. At the time I posted this, nobody from vox had made any contact.
If asking you to do your job is too much to ask for, and you are content with having 1-star reviews in excess of 81%, then the decision I have made is validated.
Sort this out.
