R1238 for installing a router!!!

I activated a Fibre to the home package with Vox in August last year. Since I was staying in an apartment that already had a fibre line setup with ONT and everything installed Vox only had to send a technician to set up my router. When I tried to cancel and request a mobile connection option instead since I now move around due to military work I was told I need to pay a penalty of R1238 for "INSTALLATION" fees. This is ridiculous since the only thing they installed was a router. I will rather go with another company for my Mobile WiFi option and don't suggest dealing with a company that claims fees for things they didn't do fully.
