pro-rata billing for service not delivered
Please take note of the following information:
Be cautious when dealing with VOX because it charges clients a pro-rata amount for services not provided and takes forever to refund. Despite providing evidence through emails and SMS communications showing that my account was incorrectly billed, the issue has not been resolved.
The details regarding the refund are as follows: - R1,999.00 (Returned Vuma router) - R149.83 (Pro-rata billing Openserve - New Fibre line) - Openserve line ordered (24/06/2024) - Openserve line activated (26/06/2024) - Router delivery (28/06/2024) - Activation link & technician assistance (01/07/2024)
When inquiring why I was billed yet I had no access to the internet due to their installation link not working which also gave their technicians a hard time, Anieqah (Credit Controller) informed me that once Vuma/Openserve installs a line to your house they start billing irrespective whether a modem is there or not. Now imaging how many clients go through this and how much VOX is making

Kindly note that the Vox billing is done in advance. The first Invoice for your Service is issued upon activation, and router delivery will take up to 3 - 5 working days, this is payable with the invoice billed in advance for the next month.
