No support during corona virus

I emailed Vox to ask to cancel my account due to the fact that i no longer had an income. Their response even during these times was standard, no support at all they refuse to take a 30day cancellation but want a "clean month" cancellation and on top of that will 1 charge me R2700.00 for cancelling my contract before a year was up secondly which is fair enough they will be coming to get their modem.

For me this is a company that is very pretending to be ******** should i still have an income they would gladly have kept on taking my money, but now that due to a pandemic i dont have an income they will not even more a muscle to assist they just want whats theirs, they do not care who gets affected. Where is an unemployed person meant to get R2700.00 plus another month of R700.00 from. Surely these are companies to be remembered when this is over.
