Misleading, deceiving, bad customer service Vox Telecom
Disappointed and misleading (Vox Telecom) I had fiber installed on the 15th November 2019 by Vox Telecom’s fiber engineer Mphulose Mogane. I asked him while he was installing / connecting should I have to move as I am renting the current property would I be able to move my fiber, and he said yes I can as long as I take my router box with and there must fiber where I am relocating to.
I also confirmed this with Michelle Mashiane (Consultant /Sales) so I was happy the service was good and I have not had any connection problems.
On the 17/07/2020 I phone in and spoke to you sales department asking them if they could move my fiber? I got told sorry no we are unable to move it, I would have cancel my current contract + pay a cancellation fee and I would need to continue paying my monthly installments even thou I won’t be able to use the service.
I could understand the response if I wanted to cancel my service but that is not the case.
Then I got told that I would need to open up a second contract with the same provider should I want to continue Vox Telecom as my telecommunications provider, oh and by the way we are running a promotion.
Solution from Vox Telecom because their is no other options available, the sales consultant didn’t even bother to find out if there could be another way to resolve the query he wasn’t even really interested in helping.
I now would have pay for to monthly service which is going to cost me R1375.98 per month but I would only use to the value of R678.99 the other half as per your sales department I WILL HAVE TO PAY, even if I am not using it.
Plus I have to cancel my contract once again as per your sales department because there no other solutions R 2700.00
You sale department customer service is revolting to say the least.
Basically what it boils down to I will be paying for 2 contracts one which I would use the service and one which I will be paying for nothing + a cancellation fee.
