melaika hophing from vox = pathetic service, horrible attitude

I have not even signed up with Vox and already had to deal with their unprofessional sales consultant, Melaika Hophing, who feels she can treat potential customers like s**t. See part of her reply below: ** Like I mentioned to you, the order has been approved but nothing has been handed over to Vox yet as it is sitting with Telco because your area has not gone live yet, understand?

There was never a promotion on 2 months free internet but free installation and activation. I can send you a flyer to prove that to you.

I will forward this mail to head office and they will then dea with the can cancellation. ** I am glad I cancelled my order with Vox who cannot provide simple answers. Sales (Melaika Hophing) have no clue when Fibre is live and their technical dept is waiting for sales who does not seem to care. Futhermore I am basically told by Melaika Hophing that Vox never had a 2 month free subscription. I contacted and send the screenshot (as requested by Frank - online consultant) for confirmation. SO I AM A **** THEN???????????????? REFER TO YOUR EMAILS!!!!!!!!

I am highly disgusted by this women's (Melaika Hophing) tone over the phone and email. Just pathetic and unprofessional as you can see from the extraction above. If you are unable to deal with customers then DO NO throw flyers in my post box. You need to go and learn how to properly speak to customers. And if I want to cancel, do not ask me lots of questions and basically insist I stay when you can clearly not provide me any answers and is rude. NO means NO UNDERSTAND???????????????? Respect your customers and simply ask "Is there anything I can do to change your mind etc. etc." and when the customer say no you respond appropriately. Don't waste my time.

I will never recommend VOX to anyone based on my experience with them and I was still in pre-order phase. One sales consultant will be the reason why I recommend other companies over VOX. And while VOX will probably ignore this, that sales consultant is guaranteed to cause more customers to leave.

I hope I don't have to deal with VOX again and hope my cancellation is processed ASAP otherwise I'm going to ICASA.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They might be cheap but other company's also offer the same and better deals and packages along with 24/7 support. If you want professional service, be treated with respect and not accused of being a **** and being stupid then stay the hell away from this company.
