How does VOX even get customers if they ignore them???

We signed up with VOX after having a billing issue with our previous ISP. A Sales Rep (Mr Tiyani M.) confirmed that he could connect us without any downtime if I sent him the documents straight away - Which I did. He promised that installation would happen over the weekend... And then everyone at VOX just vanished! We never heard from them again. Not only were we without internet for a week (2 accounts: business and personal) spending large amounts purchasing data to transfer heavy files, but we had to chase them with emails and calls to see what was going on. Mr Tiyani simply ignored our calls and never returned our messages - We only got a mail or 2 to say "apologies, I'm pulling some strings to assist you". We asked for Management to intervene - NOTHING happened.

We had to cancel BOTH our contracts since no one ever pitched for the installation. Appalling service from Tiyani Mhlongo and his Manager Johan Pitzer, who eventually called us a week later to say “I would’ve done the same thing” when we told him that thanks to his poor service we were taking our business elsewhere. As a customer, when you hear such a statement, you know there is something fundamentally wrong with the company.

VOX's Sales Department seems messy, uninterested and full of empty promises. We are shocked at the sad excuses we heard not just from the Sales Rep, but from Management and Customer Service. At one point they were blaming Fibrehoods for their lack of response (???), but Fibrehoods confirmed that VOX had not even requested the connections!

We were connected with another ISP within 1 working day and they didn't even have to come to our premises - They did everything remotely. Don't waste your time with VOX if you need to have Internet access within...... well, ever, especially if you are running a business and need to be taken seriously.

No one ever contacted me, other than a guy to "hear what had happened because he saw my complaint on Hello Peter" (but unfortunately he didn't bother to read it). It sounded like he wanted to gossip than anything else, asking for "who did this", "who did that".

Your company operates in a very unprofessional way and you must be losing customers every day due to your lack of performance and careless behaviour by management. Your team kept blaming each other until eventually, they ended up blaming Fibrehoods... who had NO IDEA that our orders even existed.

We don't want to be contacted by VOX ever again, but don't make it look like you solved any problems after the complaint on Hello Peter... you did not.
