Horrid Service!!!

I have been without internet since 15 Dec 2022. My husband and I have been trying since then to fix the issue, with no luck. It is now 12 Jan 2023 amd we still don't have internet. All the Vox customer agents mess us around. We spent all our airtime calling Vox. We eventually reported them to the Ombudsman. YES I know my rights as a consumer!

Good Morning Vox

I never heard back from you. Your response above was very vague i.e. you did not specify when you will contact me, or how much time you will need to investigate, nor exactly what you're going to investigate. You clearly responded on Hellopeter just to save face! I cannot count how many times I have been told my matter will be investigated/escalated and nothing happens. I am now without wifi for a full month. I will be canceling my contract and I want a refund for days you charged me while I sat without wifi. I will also be notifying people of this bad service so that they know what to expect.

PS - please don't tell me to call your accounts department for my credit, or your call centre. I am on hold for 30min at a time when I call, I have wasted so much airtime trying to get this matter sorted AND i have to buy extra data from my pocket to have wifi. On top of this your monthly premuims are higher than most fibre companies but your service is the worst. I have lodged an official complaint with the ombudsman and whoever reads this, should do the same of their matter is not resolved within 14 working days. People have a right to proper service when they pay you on time!!

Pss - you don't even have any details to enable an investigation so what exactly are you investigating and how will you know what account to "escalate"? I think I've just proven that Vox replies on Hellopeter only to save face but don't intend to resolve ANY problems

Thank you for your reply. What you do need to know is that I unfortunately cancelled my contract. Vox left me no choice to seek an alternate ISP with immediate effect, as I am unemployed and I have lost the chance to apply for 4 jobs because of this. Even though my last day of service with Vox is 28 February, I would suggest in order to close this off, that Vox credit me for the days where I was charged for fibre but had none, and use that credit for the February 2023 payment. And whatever balance is left (and there will be), refund it to me. I would prefer not to discuss such detail publicly, but I had no choice since no one replies to my emails at Vox. I was a loyal customer for years, but what happened here left a bad taste. I gave Vox ample chance to fix this issue, when I realised it was not gonna happen I had to move on.
