Holding Line Hostage and bullying into using them - DO NOT USE VOX

The worst ISP I have ever encountered.

The previous tenant has moved out and I recently moved into a new place. Vox refused to cancel the line as the previous tenant had failed to give the appropriate notice. Instead of Vox claiming the outstanding balance from the tenant and cancelling the line, the have held the line hostage and will only cancel after 2 months. Warren Johnston (Account Executive) has stated in an email that the line will only be canceled in 2 months, UNLESS I go with Vox. This is contravention of my rights to a ISP of my choice as I am bul**** into using Vox at the cost of previous tenant.
